In addition to our well-rounded learning curriculum, DK Schoolhouse offers a variety of engaging extra-curricular activities for your child to enjoy. Please check back to this page frequently to see what programs are currently available.
Field-Trips are provided to give students educational experiences away from their regular classroom environment and provide an interesting break in routine. Field trips add context and meaning when paired with topics being studied in class. We organize field trips three times per year with little or no added cost. Students learn about different professions, practical life skills and how they can make a positive impact on their local and global community. All field trip locations are vetted in advance to ensure the utmost levels of safety. Our field trip partners are very accommodating in providing child-safe facilities, interactive presentations and extra treats for students to take home. Note: Student’s who have just enrolled in school or are unable to follow teacher directions will not attend field trips for security purposes.
