Our PRESCHOOL program is for children aged 18 months – 4 years and is broken into three different programs; Nursery, Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten. Children in the Nursery program are just starting to develop their vocabulary and test out their independence. Providing a calm and safe environment conducive to learning is a top priority in Nursery and Preschool. Our teachers work with students to form strong bonds and help transfer trust from primary caregivers. We use sensory activities and small-group experiences to help children explore, build social skills and learn about their environment. Singing, dancing and messy play are the highlights of our day.
Small hands are always busy exploring in the classrooms! Our learning environment is designed for exploration and discovery. Our curriculum incorporates activities that encourage children’s fine and gross motor development.
Our program helps children build resiliency while helping them develop self-awareness and build problem solving and critical thinking skills. As children progress through the Pre-Kindergarten program, activities advance to include number representation, pre – reading and writing. Painting, puzzles, role-play, musical development and sensory exploration are just some of the many fun activities children enjoy.
